CHAOS IN IKORODU AS MILITANTS EMBARK ON KILLING SPREE

After an attack by gunmen on Friday 24th of June 2016, Igbolomu area in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State recorded the death of 30 individuals.

This attack is believed to be pepetrated by the Niger Delta militants.

Speaking to our correspondents an eyewitness who pleaded anonimity said the gunmen are believed to have arrived through water channel on Thursday. He also said that the shooting which lasted for about an hour had caused serious damage to the peace and unity of the community as the sporadic shooting claimed a lot of lives.

Residents are already fleeing the area.

Another eyewitness claim corpses littered the ground, adding that more could be in the swamp. Blames have been shifted to the Ijaw people in the area for giving vital information to law enforcement agents.

Speaking to the P.R.O Lagos state police command yesterday. He said his boys are already in action and the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

Five others are believed to have been kidnapped by the militants as we have been able to uncover their identity. Details below…..
