In one of the more unexpected comebacks of recent memory, Black Eyed Peas marked their return to music — their old music, you could say — with “Street Livin” last week. Last night, the West Coast trio celebrated MLK Day by bringing their politically charged single to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Black Eyed Peas after 15 years in the group to focus more on her solo career, but we later found out that wasn’t entirely true. Will I Am cleared things up last month and said Fergie was indeed taking a break from Black Eyes Peas to work on her next album, but she was very much still in the group.
