Nigerians react over report that billionaire, Femi Otedola will contest in Lagos State Governorship election

Nigerians have reacted since reports emerged hours ago that Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola is likely to run for the Lagos State governorship election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

It should be recalled that Media Mogul, Dele Momodu confirmed that Otedola accepted PDP governorship ticket to contest against Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in forthcoming 2019 elections.

The report has since had tongues wagging with diverse opinions on social media – some Nigerians welcomed Otedola’s intention, describing it as a new development for politics in Lagos State.
